SFOLN LLC respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you buy or use Halothane, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect as little as possible, and we don't sell your data.
The Halothane app
Halothane runs entirely on your Mac. It does not send your process data, memory usage, or any personal information off your device. It has no telemetry and no analytics, and it does not require an account to run.
Buying Halothane
When you purchase, payment is handled by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record. Stripe collects the information needed to process your payment (such as your email and card details) under its own privacy policy. We receive your email address and order details so we can deliver your download link and license key and provide support. We do not receive or store your full card number.
Our website
halothane.app uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first and cookieless. It does not track you across sites or build a profile of you. We use it only to see aggregate page views.
We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the website and to measure whether an advertisement leads to a purchase. Google Analytics may use cookies and process page URLs, browser and device information, and an advertising click identifier for attribution. When purchase conversion measurement is active, a completed purchase sends Google the purchase value, currency, and a unique transaction identifier. We do not send your card number, license key, or information collected by the Halothane app. Advertising personalization signals are disabled in our tag configuration.
How we use your information
- To deliver your purchase (download link and license key).
- To provide customer support and process refunds.
- To meet legal and tax obligations related to your purchase.
We do not sell your personal information. We share limited website usage data and, when conversion measurement is active, purchase-event data with Google only to understand site usage and measure the effectiveness of our advertising.
Your choices
You may request a copy or deletion of the personal information we hold about you (your email and order records) by contacting us. We keep purchase records as required for tax and accounting.
